1. Overview
Street lighting is an indispensable public facility in daily life. Currently, cities and towns are facing higher requirements for road lighting due to the shortage of electricity resources, energy conservation and emission reduction, urban renewal, and the construction of new cities. The management mode of urban road lighting was relatively crude and empirical, which differed from the construction concepts of smart cities and low-carbon cities. With the development of electronic technology, communication technology, and computer technology, intelligent street lighting management systems have become possible. By using this system, information on the operation process of each street lamp and surrounding environment can be collected, and a reasonable street lamp operation mode can be formulated to improve the management level of street lamps, reduce power consumption and management costs. The centralized controller is an important hub of the intelligent street lamp control system, installed on the low voltage side of the low voltage distribution transformer in the road light box transformer. It communicates bidirectionally with the street lamp management main station through GPRS and other communication methods to complete the monitoring and control of the street lamps. This product adopts an ARM core microcontroller and an independent embedded operating system, which is easy to operate and install, making it the best choice for intelligent street light control systems.
This concentrator mainly consists of nine parts: power unit, GPRS communication unit, multiple local communication and meter reading communication units, AC sampling unit, processor unit, carrier communication unit, LCD display, real-time clock and data storage unit.

Read the single lamp data from the terminal module for collection, storage, and preprocessing.
Convey the control instructions from the control center to the terminal module (single point, group, special scenario control, etc.).

Analyze communication data from terminal modules, identify lighting faults, and alert the control center.
The system composed of the street lamp concentrator and each terminal creep module can maintain a constant power at each lighting point in the event of voltage fluctuations in the control box, ensuring uniform illumination at the beginning and end of the wire bag, and eliminating voltage overload at night. Thus achieving the goal of energy conservation and extending the service life of the light source.
Through the data exchange between the street lamp concentrator and the terminal energy-saving module, the system can control the lighting facilities in different time periods and areas. Through current limiting regulation. Up to 54% energy savings can be achieved in the second half of the night (at a constant voltage of 220 volts). The system can be automatically controlled according to pre-set settings, or manually controlled according to actual needs.
